Bonemeal

Bonemeal is a slow release fertiliser which is used to promote healthy plant growth and additional support during plant transplant.

Bonemeal is a great source of protein and phosphorus, which are both helpful for helping plants to flower and develop. The phosphorus which comes from Bonemeal is easy for plants to take in, and helps them in a number of different ways. These can include larger or more plentiful flowers.

Just a handful of Bonemeal can help promote strong healthy growth. Mixing a small amount with the soil surrounding a plant, or slightly less plants spaced closer together such as Lavender or Box, should have a visible effect on a plant’s development over time. For hedge planting it is generally recommended to use Bonemeal at 1kilo per 15 metres of planting.

At Hedgingplants.com we provide a range of Bonemeal products, recommended alongside our many hedging and plant varieties, as a method of giving your plants a boost to growth and help to support them during resettlement. After being transported from our nursery in Kent, Bonemeal reduces the stress that transplanted plants can experience and helps to give them the best start to their development. Though each of our plants is tended to carefully by our experienced team, Bonemeal works to reduce any risk of failure from new plants.

We also stock a range of other plant accessories and Rootgrow, which we have specifically chosen to help boost and support plant growth. See our range of Bonemeal below.
