Thuja Plicata Atrovirens (Western Red Cedar) are large reasonably fast growing conifers with a deep green scented foliage. They will produce a superb dense hedge providing a good windbreak and noise filter. Thuja Plicata Atrovirens (Western Red Cedar) are more economical than English Yew (Taxus baccata) but similarly can be pruned hard back and will regenerate from the wood and they are slightly slower in growth than Leylandii so easier to maintain.
Our Thuja Plicata Atrovirens (Western Red Cedar) plants are available as pot grown plants which may be planted all year round. Our discounted pack deals are unbeatable value if you need a lot of plants.
At a glance... a useful plant for dense evergreen hedging and as windbreaks.
