EUONYMUS SILVER

Euonymus Silver (Euonymus Fortuneii Harlequin) is a small, evergreen shrub with deep green leaves covered in white spots. In the winter, the white spots can feature a hint of pink. Easily maintainable, the Euonymus Silver (Euonymus Fortuneii Harlequin) is most commonly used as a low growing hedge, ground cover, or as individual shrubs.

Also known as the ‘Silver Queen’, the Euonymus Silver (Euonymus Fortuneii Harlequin) is a slow growing hedge, growing just 10cm per year. When fully grown, the Euonymus Silver can reach an ultimate height of 1.5 to 2.5 metres, and an ultimate spread of 1 to 1.5 metres. To reach its maximum height and spread it can take as little as 5 years, or as much as 10 years.

For the best results, the Euonymus Silver (Euonymus Fortuneii Harlequin) requires well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. As a hedging plant, we recommend planting Euonymus Silver (Euonymus Fortuneii Harlequin) 3-5 plants per metre, and trimming in late summer.

When purchased from us, Hedgingplants.com, Euonymus Silver (Euonymus Fortuneii Harlequin) are 12 to 20cm plants in 15cm pots, which are easy to transport. As the Euonymus Silver is a potted plant, they are available for planting all year round.
