Green Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is a very popular hedging plant which looks great all year round. The plant features distinctive wavy edged leaves, which emerge in spring. These are a delicate pale green at first, but become a rich darker green and more robust in the summer. As autumn progresses they take on rich hues of gold and coppery orange, before turning russet brown in winter.
Though Green Beech (Fagus sylvatica) is a deciduous plant, if it is trimmed regularly it will retain most of its russet brown leaves during the winter - providing shelter and privacy all year round.
Our Green Beech (Fagus sylvatica) hedging plants are available in a huge range of sizes, as bare root or rootballed plants from November - April, or as pot grown plants which may be planted all year round.
We also offer discounted pack deals which offer unbeatable value if you need a lot of plants; as well as Instant Green Beech (Fagus sylvatica) hedges in a range of heights if you want an instant effect.
All of our hedging plants are available for delivery to locations throughout the UK, shipped from our nursery in Kent. See our range of Beech Green below, or contact a member of the team for any further information.
