Euonymus Golden

Euonymus Golden (Aureo Marginata) is a hardy, dwarf evergreen shrub which has lustrous green leaves with broad yellow margins. In the winter, you can expect to see a slight hint of pink appear on the leaves.

Also known as Wintercreeper and Euonymus Fortunei Emerald ‘n’ Gold, the Euonymus Golden (Aureo Marginata) is a popular, variegated evergreen shrub that is ideal to use for ground cover or low hedges, due to its excellent spreading habit. Or alternatively, can be used as individual shrubs. Due to its hardy nature, the Euonymus Golden is great for low maintenance gardens.

Tough and versatile, Euonymus Golden (Aureo Marginata) will thrive in well-drained soil in partial or full shade. It will also grow well in full sun, if the soil is moisture retentive. As a hedging plant, we recommend planting Euonymus Golden (Aureo Marginata) 3 to 5 plants per metre, and trimming mid to late spring.

A slow-growing evergreen shrub, the Euonymus Golden (Aureo Marginata) can reach an ultimate height of 1 metre and an ultimate spread of 1.5 metres. It can take the Euonymus Golden (Aureo Marginata) up to 10 years to reach its ultimate height and spread.

When purchased from the Hedgingplants.com nursery, Euonymus Golden are 12-20cm plants in 15cm pots. Where stocks allow, Euonymus Golden is available for planting any time of the year.
