COTONEASTER LACTEUS

Cotoneaster Lacteus is an attractive, wildlife-friendly and large evergreen hedging plant that grows in an arching form. Originating from China, it has an abundance of small white and pink flowers in early summer, followed by red, purple or black berries in the autumn; which can last well into winter.

A fast growing hedge, when fully grown the Cotoneaster Lacteus can reach anywhere between 2.5 and 4 metres in height, and spread anywhere between 2.5 and 4 metres. To reach its maximum height and spread it can take as little as 10 years, or as much as 20 years.

Easily maintainable, the Cotoneaster Lacteus is a hedge for all seasons, which requires well-drained, dry situations in full sun or partial shade. It is also known to attract an array of wildlife, including insects, and although not often, birds.

When buying your hedging plants from Hedgingplants.com, Cotoneaster Lacteus are available as pot grown plants which can be planted all year round.
