The HedgingPlants.com dispatch centre is at the heart of our very own 50 acre nursery in Kent, which has over 1 million plants in stock. This means you get fast delivery of top quality plants, in large or small numbers, guaranteed. The vast majority of orders are dispatched within 2-5 working days by our dedicated team. We offer a great sliding scale of discounts for all orders, and unbeatable pack deals if you need a lot of plants to suit your project. Additionally we offer a further 10% website discount on all orders over £1000 placed online – and delivery is still free. You can receive a great deal, whatever your requirements.
We dispatch up to 1000 parcels and over 100 pallets of top quality hedging plants in a busy week, not to mention frequent direct deliveries of full loads of plants to larger projects on dedicated lorries. We are well experienced in ensuring your order is delivered smoothly, safely and on time, whether you need 10 plants or 10,000. Orders are picked daily from over 10 acres of pot grown hedging stock beds, as well as 40 acres of growing fields where larger rootballed hedge plants are produced.
We use a top of the range Javo Mega potting machine on our nursery, together with a fleet of 10 tractors, two Merlo telehandlers and our own specialised Holmac rootballing machine. This high quality equipment paired with 12 dedicated nursery staff helps to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
We are currently trialling pioneering methods of applying greenwaste compost and wheat straw to our field grown crops of hedging plants as a mulch, with the intention of almost eliminating the use of herbicides (weedkillers) over the coming years.
